I've done a little shopping with some holiday money & I wanted to share with you all some great finds!

All of the items were purchases by me and some were on sale.

Now on to the haul :)

OOTD: Vintage Missoni.

Hey loves!

So I haven't done an OOTD in a long time and I wanted to share with you all my latest finds!

As I was causally browsing the aisles of The Salvation Army I saw this beauty!

The color & fabric I found to be so unique I had to have it <3

I tried it on and of course it was to large but nothing a stylish belt can't fix ;)

I didn't see a label any where so when I realized it was a Missoni shirt I was shocked! 

If I knew that in the store I probably would have held it up in the sky and sang the Hallelujah chorus at the top of my lungs! lol 

(I know I have problems!) 

As for the belt which is my second part of the outfit...I was just walking past a table in a flea market and BAM! it caught my eye!


I stuck with plain black leggings and open toed beige heels since I wanted the focus of my outfit to be the top & belt.


I'm a sucker for vintage clothes & accessories they will be the death of me </3 lol

The Muppets Collection: Warm & Fozzie.

hey lovelies!

As you all know "The Muppets" movie is out and so is O.P.I's Muppets Collection.

The Collection is filled with glitters and bold colors.


A lot of the polishes are sold out but def try to get your hands on those that apply to you!


For me Warm & Fozzie caught my eye.


A lot of individuals label Warm & Fozzie as their favorite & for good reason!

• Okay so I've been wanting this blush for a minute! Grr I need Hussy now!!

• After purchasing Pink Rebel I feel like I need Sun Rush since its gives off more of a glow. Pink Rebel gives off more of a dewy look.

• I've been getting into mauvy/purple blushes lately. I was looking into this blush but wasnt sure how I felt about the shimmer, since NARS tends to have alot of glitter and shimmer in their products, but after seeing so many raves on various blogs I know it's a must have.

• I must admit I've seen Love Joy all over the place and a lot of girls say this blush goes with every makeup look. I guess I'm finally giving into temptation! lol

• I feel like every girl has experience the amazingness of YSL but me! This lipstick has been on my wishlist for such a long time...I just keep buying everything but :(

DIY Ombre Hair.

Hey dolls,

So I finally decided to Ombre my hair!

I will talk about how I prepared my hair for the bleaching and dying process & all of the products used.

I want to thank my sister, Jeanette for helping me <3 

It took about 6 hrs for the finished look.

October Favorites

Hello makeup junkies/fashion lovers,

 I have never done an Favorites post ever because I simply use different products everyday.

Some products I'm always changing in my routine are lipsticks, and blushes.

This month I was surprised in myself for sticking with certain products, maybe my sister is rubbing off on me lol!

She sticks to the same products for a month straight...I have no idea how she does it!

But I will try to continue this pattern since I love seeing what other bloggers/ You tubers monthly favorites are :)

So this year instead of being slutty or girlie I was aiming for the opposite...
A zombie teacher!!

I used special fx makeup for the open wound.

The rest is a lot of eyeshadow, smudging and blending.

I also put a red blood on my teeth.

I patiently waited for Sephora's F&F sale to pick up this highlighter that has been raved about in the beauty world.

Wet n Wild Lipsticks.

Hey everyone!

So I was in search for a specific lipstick at the drug store and didn't find it but something else caught my eye.

I have own these lipstick formula in lighter shades and I absolute love them!

They are completely matte and can be layered.

These colors caught my eye mainly because its fall and they scremed BUY ME!

As you all know its Fall in NYC and the leaves are falling down.
I've been embracing the weather with some glitter ;)

I've been into the metallic look and sparkle of course!

These are two polishes I've been currently obsessed with this month of Oct <3


Milani Jewel FX Nail Lacquer in Gold

Bottom Coat: Revlon Peach Nectar

Middle Coat: Forever21 Nail Polish in Gold (small gold glitter)

Top Coat: Milani nail polish in Gold

then a finishing coat

I decided to go for a nude/peach color as a base so the gold can pop out! I really love how the gold on the Milani polish are large so they can be more visually seen <3 LOVE

Revlon Nail Polish in Belle

Bottom Coat: O.P.I's You Don't Know Jacques! (matte) (2 coats)

Top Coat: Revlon's Belle Nail Polish

then a finish coat

 I was just staring at my nail polish rack trying to decide which color would look well with Belle. Belle has small refined glitter then larger ones comparable to Milani's. I really love this combo especially since the bottom coat is matte which makes Belle that metallic feel <3

OOTD: The Return of the Poncho.

Hey Dolls!

So I've been embracing fall recently.

This post was influenced after watching  pinkcupcake211 a.k.a Carolina's OOTD

I love her style and she is drop dead gorgeous! She has great beauty related views so def sub to her if you can!

So I raged through my closet to find my poncho! I bought it last fall and haven't worn it yet.

Ponchos are really in this season and their great when your not in the mood for a blazer or light jacket.

I wore this outfit for a night out with my guy friends whom I love!

This is just casual and my personal spin on it and FOTD was simple as well :)

Elie Saab Spring Summer Paris Fashion Week 2012.

Hey fashion junkies!

So as you all know Paris Fashion Week is one of the most influential in fashion trends and etc.

Personally, I love European fashion over American just because the creativity and perspective on fashion is totally different. 

I wanted to share with you my favorite show this season.. Elie Saab's Spring/Summer collection.

To me this collection is classic, sophisticated, sexy, modern, and elegant.

The color scheme is absolute breathtaking and can suite many different skin tones.

I'm in love with every single piece in this collection.

Rachel Zoe's New Home.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Today I wanted to discuss one of my many loves..interior design.

My mother has greatly influenced me in this area. I could spend hours with her shopping for home decor and I assist her on modern aspects to incorporate into the home.


During this season of the Rachel Zoe's Project, Rachel and Roger move into a new luxurious home.


Rachel Zoe appointed one of her employees, Jeremiah Brent, to design her home and it came out fabulous.

Urban Decay Fall/Holiday 2011.

Hey makeup junkies!

I'm sure some of you have seen these Urban Decay Promo pictures but I just wanted to share with you all these makeup looks I'm currently obsessed with!

Fall Fashion is here!

Hey loves,

So fall weather is officially coming to NYC this week which I'm super excited for!

I love fall fashion out of all the seasons because you can be so versatile with your wardrobe.

You can pair a floral print dress with a jean jacket and boots and ta-da! You look effortlessly chic <3

This are just some fall trends that I'm personally loving right now!

•   Blazer

A classic Blazer never goes out of style I personally love to throw them on to instantly dress up jeans or a dress.

• Chuncky Over Sized Sweaters

I love to be comfortable and this is a piece of clothing that just looks so cute paired with leggings and boots.

• Chiffon Shirts

I love chiffon shirts in the fall! They are warm enough for the weather and can be worn in various events.

• Jacket with Fur Trim

I'm not a fan of real fur but fake fur is fine with me. I personally love this green military color jacket it looks amazing and can be mixed & matched with some many different colors.

• Wool & Leather Shorts

I honestly I really need a pair of both these shorts! I think shorts paired with tights and cute heels is so classic. This is one of my favorite fall outfits.

• A Bright Colored Dress

 I'm a big fan of earthy colors and fall is the perfect season to display them. I love green, orange, peach, tan, khaki dresses for fall.

• Fur Trimmed Boots, Oxfords, & Wedges

I think all of these shoes keep coming back every season. I think they are essential since they are comfy and can be pair with jeans, dresses, and leggings.

• Neutral Purses

My new favorite color for this fall is muted pink. I think this color in purses just adds a splash of color to an outfit without being over whelming.

• Scarfs

Oh don't forget the scarfs! Scarfs are my go to accessory when I want to add something to an simple outfit such as a tee shirt and jeans.

Fall Transition Colors: Nail Polish Edition.

hey loves! So Fall officially starts this week and NYC weather is already hitting low temperatures.

That means good by bright nail polish and time to bring out those transition colors!

I love fall and it's a great season to still rock a splash of color on your nails.

To me, transition colors are colors that transfer from one season to another and are still seasonal appropriate.

Now let's see my top picks for fall transition colors...

OOTD: Turban Love.

Hey dolls! so I went out with my friends to the city for a night and I wanted to share my outfit.

It got a little chilly at night so I want to wear something that could keep my warm.

Personally I love the color mustard yellow and since I still have a tan it looks extra nice!

The outfit is simple but I wanted to spice it up with a turban which I love! 

I have my mother's vintage earrings she let me have for the night how sweet! lol

I've started Grad school and the work load is so over whelming.

But luckily my school is near an Essie & O.P.I store with super low prices so I took advantage!!

Bronzers for Blush Addicts.

Hope all you beauties are doing well :)

Today I wanted to share with you all blush addicts or bronzer addicts some bronzers that I love to wear as blush :)

I'm pretty tan even in the winter time so I do not put bronzer all over my face, instead I like to use them to give me a nice glow.

Bronzers are great to add depth through contouring as well.

The Bronzers I will be discussing can be used as a contour, but I perfer to use them as blushes.

Now lets take a look at my new addiction ;)

 

FOTD: Red Lips.

I've been trying to branch out into colored lipstick recently.

I'm self conscious about my lips because I don't have a strong cupid's bow. 

I really wanted to wear red lips with a long black maxi dress so I did!!

On Holiday: OOTD

Hey Loves so I went on holiday to Canada with my family and we had a great time!

We went to various cities and saw so many amazing buildings, along with nature.

The natives were so friendly. The cities were so beautiful and clean!

As soon as I saw an e-mail from E.L.F stating their 60% off entire site sale for there university I was sold!

Lucky everything I wanted was in stock and I was also curious about some new products and I am not disappointing :)

July Birchbox.

Yes, I got sucked into the hype after seeing all the June Birchbox with the Laura Geller Baked Blush which was full size!!

I was hoping for cosmetic samples and at least one full size product, but I am sadly disappointed.


This month's box were picks by Cynthia Rowley, whom is a designer.

Now let's take a look at what I received. 

Lime Crime Lipsticks.

I've been lusting after this lipsticks for a while, but I convienced myself to wait till there was a sale and there was!!

Lime Crime reached 35,000 Fans on Facebook so they had a 35% off code for one day only. Lucky I had all of this lipsticks ready to order and once the clock turned 12 the site went bonkers!! 

I was flipping out but lucky the order went through <3

ASOS makeup.

So I was on the hunt for some Barry M blush after seeing Ebru's Summer Blush Post.

I was chatting to her on Twitter about where she purchased the Barry M blush in Apricot and she mentioned ASOS.

So naturally being the Blush Addict that I am I searched on the site for that Blush.

They didn't have any Barry M blushes available but they were having a summer sale so I purchased these beauties!! <3

Sedu Ionic Ceramic Pro Flat Iron.

So my flat iron broke, so I began the search for which flat iron to purchase next.
It was either between CHI or GHD.

I know these are really good quality flat irons but they did not offer the right size since I like flat irons that are a little more in width.

For reference I have naturally curly hair that does get frizz alot and takes about 30 mins to straighten on my own.

So now lets talk hair!

Review: Revlon ColorStay Mineral Mousse.

Foundations work differently for everyone.
It all depends on your skin type.

This is my personal opinion about the foundation and it was purchased with my own money.

For reference I have oily skin with acne scarring.

I went to the Cosmetic Warehouse in NYC and all of the products are marked down. Honestly their prices are a great deal! If your in the NYC area I would recommend going there.

So today I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC
to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit entitled Savage Beauty.

Too Faced Cosmetics F&F Sale.

Too Faced had a Friends & Family Sale which included a 20% off your entire purchase, so
I decided to order some items I've had my eye on for a while!

I just received this items in the mail so I will not be disgusting lasting power or how they wear, just how the products swatched, felt, etc.

I finally got my hands on Rose D'oro mineralized blush and let me tell you it was not easy!! 
It's always sold out :( and it takes forever to restock!!

Same problem with NYX Lipstick in Orange Soda.
One of my favorite fashion/beauty guru on YT considers this her favorite and I knew I had to have it!

The Met Costume Institute Gala 2011.

The Met Gala encompasses the Glitz, Glamour, and The Red Carpet in One of the World's most Fashion forward city... New York City.

A number of celebrities, designers, and artist attended this annual event which is open to the public in a sense that you can stand outside and watch all of the magic happen and take pictures of course!

All of the High Fashion and Haute Couture gave me a little high I must say!
